I'm the "air force brat" who was always the "new kid in town" knocking
on doors to find someone fun to play with before I had to move on.  I
guess you could say I'm a child of the world, living in Tokyo, Japan &
Honolulu, Hawaii before I entered kindergarten.  I never really had
roots, until my dad retired from the Air Force, and moved us to the
Midwest.  Both of my parents were born and raised in Ohio, so they
taught us those good values before putting down stakes in the Chicago
area.  I graduated from Hinsdale Central, and Northern Illinois
University.  After struggling with science classes at NIU (I majored
in Biology!), I took a radio course…the rest is history.  My first job
was at WXRD in Woodstock, IL., and we went by the slogan, "The
Crossroads between Rock & Pop".  Unfortunately, the biz is fickle, and
I ended up moving as far away as Buffalo, NY.  Now, 3 decades later, I
feel really blessed to be back near my family, and a part of the 9FM
family!  And I don't have to look for "someone fun to play with"
anymore, 'cuz I have you to "play anything" for- EVERY SATURDAY FROM
